I could spend this blog talking about the best Kpop Dance coverists out there according to statistics such as views and subscribers. Ste319 and WaveYa would be the ones I know best. But I prefer to talk about the underdogs a.k.a the Rising Stars of this genre.
The picture you see above is a group called ILoveKPOPDance. I had heard of them before but didn't really start watching their covers until xMichellyKinZx moved to New York for college and joined the group. (I know, I'm biased.) But now that I do watch them I know just how great they are. They work hard to learn all the hardest dances in Kpop then they film in multiple areas around New York (where people stop and watch them). Someone does a great job editing these videos then they are posted to Youtube for people like myself, and hopefully now you, to watch. From what I can tell dancing is much more than just a hobby for all these talented people. And I believe they could all be famous dancers someday. You can find them

So now I will tell you about xMichelleyKinZx. According to her youtube she started filming and posting Kpop Dance Covers October 12th 2010. Her first cover was 'Breathe' by B2st. She looks to have filmed it in like a living room or backroom. She has progressed to be an even better dancer (as that is really the only direction you can go in if you are working hard, and she is). She is a very energetic woman with a lot of spunk and has also posted a couple singing covers and info/Q&A videos. She has a lot of personality that really comes out when she dances so if you like to learn/watch Kpop Dances I definitely recommend you check out her channel @ http://www.youtube.com/user/xMichelleyKinZx
Now another two favorites of mine also do singing covers. But here I just want to talk about the Dance covers they have done. Kyufleck posted her first short dance cover on October 2nd 2010. It was 'Clap Your Hands' by 2NE1. She was energetic and didn't look nervous at all. She went on to do a full cover of 'Ah' by Afterschool in which she changed her scenery to where she has been filming the majority of her dance covers unless she goes outside etc. Recently she covered 'Gentleman' by PSY. Honestly I have yet to watch it but I will be checking it out as soon as I'm completely done with this post. She is a great dancer who just gets better with each cover she does and , I feel, she is definitely worth subscribing to. You can watch her dance & sing @ http://www.youtube.com/user/kyufleck . Next is another singer/dancer Angelnaykka22 aka JinYeon. Her first dance/singing cover (she likes to do both or just singing) was posted June 29th 2011. She covered 'Pinocchio' by F(x). She has a very unique voice that always stands out and her dance moves are well rehearsed. She is a hard working youtuber who also plays guitar, participates in collabs, mixes and sings harmonies. If you like Kpop in general she is a great addition to your sub box. You can find her right here

Now I don't really consider these guys underdogs anymore. But they are entertaining to watch and I figured if you haven't heard of them you may enjoy their dance covers. Well when they started the channel was 'cloudstrife718'. Now I go looking for them and I see 'K-pop Dancing Twins'. But that is what they are. I can understand the wanting to change the channel name to something more solid that will pull in the right audience. They are definitely some of the best out there that haven't joined some other group. It's still just the two of them doing covers in school, malls, parks etc. Must I say more? Why don't you just go and subscribe? @ http://www.youtube.com/user/cloudstrife718
Last but definitely NOT least is epyanna. Her videos really gave me inspiration to start dancing again. She doesn't just cover Kpop though. She has covers from other genres too. But her dancing is so good that even if you don't like the song you don't care. The first video I can see on her page is from April 20th 2010 and it's a cover of 'Wedding Dress' by TaeYang. You can tell by watching it she had been dancing long before she ever filmed this cover. She has technique and energy. She also has plenty of piano covers on her channel. She is still an underdog despite her obvious talent and credibility. I hope someday she becomes a huge star for the talents she has. Don't wanna take my word for it? Go check out her youtube page and decide for yourself. @ http://www.youtube.com/user/EpyAnna
