We all have the moments when we want everyone to like the same Kpop group we do. We want them to understand our obsession and to obsess with us. But for some reason the people around me and the groups I like just don't mix. I tend to lean towards girl groups for the most part and majority of the people I know like guy groups and 2NE1. And while I don't disagree with their choices, I don't understand why they don't like the other girl groups or why they don't like Double A.
And I know Double A is OK with it. They love the fans who love them like myself. And I realize I'm not exactly a normal Kpop fan anymore anyways. I don't tend to spazz or have many Feelz. I just get a little excited, jump around a little and enjoy the video/song whatever. And I don't freak out about line-up changes. I never once got overly upset about Juwon (주원) leaving and Jinhong(진홍) joining. Infact I think 진홍 is absolutely adorable. I love his shy personality and the fact that he takes care of the other members and is polite.
My biggest thing when it comes to any music is how original it is and how fun it is. Double A hits both of those right on. With Aoora (아우라) and HoIk (호익) writing lyrics and Woosang (우상) making most of the choreography they are one of the most original and different groups on the Kpop scene now. So many people turned away so quickly when they debuted with the dance that looked a little bit like Genie. I feel like so many people are missing out on an awesome and fun original group. But what can I do other than just continue to love and support them myself. They are my #1 male group in Kpop and I put them and 소녀시대 on the same level because I could never pick between my #1 male group and my #1 female group.
And who knows, maybe some day I will get tired of them or they will disband forever. But for now I love them and their music and will continue to no matter how many fans they gain or lose.
I remember reading about 아우라 losing a ton of weight. I cried when I read that story. He became my Bias. He's 5 years older than me and he's such an inspiration. He loves music, dancing and his fans. He feels more real to me than a lot of kpop stars out there.
호익 is the ex-막내 with a deep voice. As the youngest (before 진홍) he stuck out already making himself known while also being incredibly adorable.
김치 aka 유예향기 is the visual 막내 with his adorable face and big cheeks. He stuck out since the beginning with his colored hair in 미쳐서 그래. And wowed us W with his strong vocals.
우상 let us know from pre-debut that he is a dancer, a great dancer. He works hard, so hard infact that he has become very muscular in the past 2 years.
And new 막내 진홍 is wowing W already with his 애교 and his voice.

So while I may think you are missing out and you may think I'm missing out really it all boils down to a matter of opinion. And my opinion is that AA is awesome. And as always I'll leave it up to you to form your own opinion. But I will say this. Always take the chance to form your own opinion. Don't go off of anyone else's. So, really, watch the videos before you read the comments. Make up your own mind because you never know what you could end up liking or not liking.
