One of my favorite things to write about is controversial topics. Partially because they garner so much attention but also because I don't think they should draw that much attention nor do I think they should be deemed controversial most of the time. I, myself, don't usually pay much attention to them. But when things build up like they have been I feel the need to come in and say something, be it good or bad. I also like to sometimes mention things people may find completely unrelated but I feel may be somehow relevant to the entire situation. I also mention things I feel people shouldn't forget. Maybe I'm the only one who finds them that important, but I still like to remind people because as much as I don't think so much attention should be put towards some things; I feel like some other things should be paid attention to. I have something I'll mention later in this article that I hope some of you can help me shed some light on. But first I want to start with the 2 things every one has been talking about.
Park Bom. Well I'm sure I don't have to say much more for you to know what I'm talking about now. It was stated weeks ago that Park Bom and/or her family was caught smuggling drugs, specifically amphetamines, into Korea where they are illegal ( I believe for good reason). I'm not sure why she would want amphetamines. Maybe she took them at some point in her life before when she didn't live in Korea. Maybe she heard about them from some one else who has taken them or maybe she traveled out of the country and got a prescription for them. I really don't know. No matter the reason I think she's better off without them. Amphetamines are very addictive and withdrawals are hell. I only know this because someone close to me went through amphetamine withdrawals and it was pretty hard to watch. I cannot even imagine what it was like to actually experience it. I know a lot of people got riled up because the only words they read were DRUGS and ILLEGAL so they were like "OMG why would Park Bom do Illegal drugs? Drugs are bad! OMG!" If that was you, let me just tell you now that amphetamines are legal in America and if you have ADHD I bet you take amphetamines every day. *gasp* Now you may be thinking "Then why are they illegal in S.Korea?" They are addictive. If you take them for your ADHD you may or may not know what it's like experience withdrawals because amphetamines build up in your system so missing a day or two isn't bad. However if you have experienced even small withdrawal symptoms try multiplying that times about 1000 times and you might understand what it's like to have to quit cold turkey. It's really bad. One of the first thoughts I had was "Has Bom been taking amphetamines all this time and was she just now caught?" If that is the case then I feel really bad for her right now IF she is going without the pills because she is probably going through hell. And if that is not the case I really hope she does not take them/is not taking because if she starts and doesn't stop taking them soon it will be really hard for her to stop and feel ok. Infact I wouldn't be surprised if that was why she was getting off of Roommate. No matter the situation it's not our problem. You may be a huge Bom fan and if you are the best thing you can do for her right now is pray/hope she is ok and is able to either come back to Roommate or at least be alright.
Sulli's situation worries me. I'm mostly worried because we don't know much just yet. All we know is all promotions for Red Light have stopped and that they are saying she is sick. That's all they've given us. I know this worries a lot of people but, like I stated earlier, all the good we can do is hope/pray that everything turns out alright. Turning it into a scandal and making a fuss over it has only made things worse. Although sometimes I feel like this stuff could possibly be done on purpose to get attention. Not all the time, but some times I do feel like it's a possibility. Just think about it. And take some time to think about good outcomes for all of this.
So lastly I need to ask you guys a question. All you scientists, physics people and doctors please use your knowledge to tell me how one hits their eye on a car door? The explanation for Sunny busting a capillary was that she hit her eye on a car door. Am I the only one questioning how this is possible? Am I the only one questioning this at all? Am I the only one not blinded by these other 'scandals' to take the time to question this? There was no other explanation. Just simply "She hit her eye on a car door" If someone can use knowledge to make that make sense to me I will leave it alone. Until then I will keep asking "How does one hit their eye on a car door?"
Controversies, scandals whatever name you use for them don't let them blind you to the rest of the world. They are but one fleeting moment in time and once you let it go it will pass. We are all just people living our lives, trying to get by. If you love these people let them live their lives and don't let the media influence how you think of them so much. Use your own knowledge and your brain to learn who these people are and love them for those reasons.
